How do I access the battery bay of the Sidekick 2?

My Sidekick 2 froze and i cant seem to restart it

You can’t remove the battery, but you can do a hard reset. Insert a paperclip into the hole under the screen in the metal hinge (you’ll need to rotate the screen a bit to see it). There is an arrow (or triangle) pointing to it. When you push there it’ll reset.
