Computer users have many different computer screen sizes, depending on the type of monitor used. This displays the including laptops, mobile devices, desktop and mobile PCs. If your site does not display well on computer users will lose patience and go elsewhere. Make sure that the site can be viewed correctly in all popular screen resolutions.

Example

If the project site with 3 columns right may be presented in widescreen, but the column can be welded in the lower resolution Photos and text can be clearly seen.

How well do you know if the page that displays correctly on different screens? If a web designer, what size (s), if the project is about?

Consider first the display screen resolution stats

Screen resolution is 640A-480 800A-600, 1024A-768, Superior + is not known. According to statistics, 57% use a screen resolution greater than 1024A-768. 1024A most voted 768 to 36% for most portable use.

What size (s) on the project?

As that the majority of computer users view Web 1024X768 pixels or more, the width of the site around 1000 pixels. No more than 1024 pixels wide, because users have to scroll horizontally to see.

Or you can use a percentage width width adjust the width of your screen. For example, the width of the main table or a cascading style sheet to 100%.
