What would happen if I uninstall my PS2 Multimedia keyboard?

I have a desktop duplication and have to use my keys F1 and F2 to enter codes. but with multimedia keyboard it shows the different possibilities. Just want to make sure that if I uninstall the keyboard will continue to function as a basic keyboard.

Uninstall the software that came with the keyboard. The keyboard will work as a keyboard base. PS / 2 devices are automatically recognized by Windows.
